The Ministry of Health predicts a “pre-coronavirus” life for vaccinated
The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to increase the number of vaccination certificates against coronavirus. Now the certificate will be issued not only after the completion of the immunization course.
Changes in quarantine rules will allow Ukrainians to return to normal “pre-coronavirus” life even if quarantine restrictions are tightened, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko said on Monday, September 13, on the air Freedom of speech on ICTV.
He clarified that the restrictions that were previously introduced in the region when it enters the “yellow” quarantine zone, now may not apply in some institutions, including educational ones, in the event that 80% of employees or visitors are vaccinated with at least one dose of vaccine against coronavirus infection.
“We allow epidemic danger in yellow, orange and red levels, which are established in accordance with certain indicators – morbidity, bed occupancy, load on health care institutions, to function during these quarantine restrictions,” the head of the Ministry of Health said.
He also clarified that if the region falls into the “red” quarantine zone, the rate of vaccinated visitors or employees of the institution should be 100% to continue its work.
Lyashko noted that, according to the new rules, Ukraine will issue “yellow” and “green” vaccination certificates. They will include information on the administration of the drug for coronavirus (one or two doses) or on the COVID-19 disease transferred no later than six months ago.
Recall that in Ukraine, with the introduction of quarantine, privileges will be provided to those who have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
