In Rio de Janeiro, the Foundation for Support to the Technical School (Faetec) is offering 2,325 places in 50 free Professional Qualification courses. Applications can be made until Tuesday (21) at website of the institution.
In the list of courses offered are school concierge and doorman for buildings and condominiums, beginner English, waiter, makeup artist, reception and reservations agent in accommodation, computer operator, human resources assistant, manicure and pedicure, kitchen assistant , baker, saltier and receptionist.

In all, there are 43 Faetec units offering professional training courses. The average duration is 10 weeks. To apply, you must be between 15 and 18 years old, according to the requirements of each course. Schooling also varies depending on the qualification chosen.
Registration opened this Friday (17) and continue until tomorrow. A drawing of places will be held on Wednesday (22), and the complete list of selected candidates will be published on the same day. After the disclosure, candidates will have between the 23rd and 28th of September to enroll. Classes will start on October 4th.
