The EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas welcomed the election by the Council of Judges of candidates to the Ethics Council under the High Council of Justice according to his quota, which unblocked the judicial reform. About this diplomat wrote on your Twitter.

“A good step towards the implementation of the reform of the judicial system. Now it is necessary for the High Council of Justice to create an Ethics Council – which can be done in a week – and the work can begin,” Maasikas emphasized.

Let us remind you that on Saturday, October 23, the Council of Judges elected candidates to the Ethics Council according to its quota. As a result of voting, four candidates out of eight received more than 16 votes of support. Their candidacies were sent to the High Council of Justice.
