Ukraine will ease restrictions on public transport for red zones
It was decided to let more passengers into the transport so that people would not wait long at the bus stop in winter, the Ministry of Health explained.
Restrictions on public transport will be weakened in the red quarantine zones in Ukraine. About it stated Head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko on the air of the Inter TV channel on Monday, November 22.
Mayors of Ukrainian cities have asked to loosen the restrictions. Now in Ukraine, more passengers will be allowed to enter public transport due to the onset of cold weather, so that people do not wait long at the bus stop.
“We are moving to such a stage that the pandemic becomes a pandemic of unvaccinated people, and plus the vaccinated should not suffer because of the unvaccinated,” Lyashko said.
At the same time, in areas of the red zone, only those who have a COVID certificate, a negative PCR test or a certificate of recovery from coronavirus will still be able to use public transport.
Recall that in Ukraine, the increase in COVID-19 has been falling for five days. Most of all new cases of infection were detected in the Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev and Odessa regions.
In this case, two areas leave the red zone. In these regions, the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 has stabilized.
