The Internal Revenue Service paid, this Tuesday (30), the residual batch of refund of the Income Tax of Individuals (IRPF) for the month of November 2021 and previous years. In total, 260,412 taxpayers will receive R$ 450 million.
Payment is made directly to the bank account informed on the Income Tax Declaration. If the agency is unable to deposit the amount in the account informed, the money will be available for up to one year at the Bank in Brazil.
The taxpayer may also reschedule the credit through the BB Portal or by calling the BB Relationship Center by telephones 4004-0001 (capitals), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (special telephone exclusively for the hearing impaired) .
“If the taxpayer does not redeem the amount of their refund within one year, they must request it through the e-CAC Portal, available on the IRS website, accessing the Declarations and Statements > My Income Tax menu and clicking on “Request non-redeemed refund in the banking network”, informed the agency through a note.
To find out if the taxpayer is entitled to the residual lot, just access the Internal Revenue Service page on the internet, click on “My Income Tax” and on “Consult the Refund”. As a result, the guidelines for simplified or complete consultation of the declaration status will appear on the screen. If there is any pending item, the taxpayer may rectify the declaration, correcting the information.
Those taxpayers who have legal priority receive amounts from this lot, such as the elderly and people with a physical or mental disability or serious illness, those whose main source of income is teaching, and non-priority taxpayers who delivered the declaration by the last day of the 9.
