Vaccination queue in Ukraine
Ukrainians spend the bulk of the money received on books, cinemas and rail transport.
As of December 19, more than 3 million citizens of Ukraine have already signed up for the єPidtrimka service, within which 1,000 hryvnia will be paid for vaccination against the coronavirus COVID-19. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov in Telegram on Sunday.
According to him, most of this number has already received money, since Monobank, Alfa-Bank and A-Bank began to transfer them earlier. Clients of other banks who have joined the project will receive money within 10 days.
Fedorov also noted that in terms of the amount of money spent, the three main categories are as follows:
- Cinemas (the indicator is almost the same as that of books)
- Railway transport
“Let me remind you that the preliminary project is designed for one year, so everyone will definitely be in time. Do not forget to update the Diya application,” Fedorov added.
Let us remind you that on December 19, Ukraine launched the єPidtrimka service. Fully vaccinated Ukrainians can apply for thousands of hryvnias through December 29 inclusive.
It will be possible to pay online and offline, but only for the specified categories of business. Banks will recognize the category of business when paying by card using MCC codes (a code that is assigned to a point of sale and characterizes the direction of business). In the case of payment with the єPidtrimka card, it must match one of the codes specified in the decree of the Cabinet.
Also, the Ministry of Health told how to get a “thousand vaccines” not through Diya. In the application, money will be available from December 19, and an alternative mechanism for calculating payments will become available later.
