The volume of gas injected per day exceeded the volume withdrawn by 55 million cubic meters
The total filling of European gas storage facilities is about 60 billion cubic meters, which is 21.4 billion less than last year.
During the day on December 30, more “blue fuel” was pumped into the underground gas storages (UGS) of Europe than was taken away. This happened for the first time since October, testify data Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), unveiled on December 31.
According to the GIE, gas withdrawal from European underground storage facilities on Wednesday amounted to 223.3 million cubic meters, while injection exceeded 278.5 million cubic meters.
Thus, the total filling of European gas storage facilities has grown to 55.71% and now amounts to about 60 billion cubic meters, which is 21.4 billion less than last year.
