Ukraine increased export and import of goods in a year

Export of goods from Ukraine in 2021 amounted to $68.088 billion. Imports rose to $73.289 billion.

In January-December 2021, the volume of foreign trade amounted to $141.377 billion, which is 37% more than last year ($103.429 billion). This is evidenced by the data customs statistics Ukraine.

It is noted that the export of goods from Ukraine in 2021 amounted to 68.088 billion dollars. This is 38% more than last year.

Imports rose by 35% to $73.289 billion. The negative balance was fixed at $5.201 billion (in 2020 – $5.040 billion).

In 2021, food was exported for $27.710 billion, which is 25% more than in 2020. The export of metals increased by 77% (up to $15.992 billion).

Imports of fuel and energy products increased by 88% (up to $14.938 billion), while imports of chemical products increased by 35% (up to $14.553 billion).

Earlier, the State Statistics Service named the main trading partners of Ukraine. The top three included China, Poland and Germany.
