Kuleba showed Blinken the “recovered” territories of Ukraine

The historical map includes such regions as Kuban, Taganrog, districts of the Bryansk region of the Kursk, Belgorod and Voronezh regions.

During the visit of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Kiev, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba showed him a map of Ukraine not with state, but with historical and ethnographic borders. Blinken published the corresponding photo in Twitter.

The map shows regions that are not currently part of Ukraine. In particular, the territories of Russia, which were previously inhabited by Ukrainians.

Thus, the map includes such regions as Kuban, Taganrog, districts of the Bryansk region. In addition, the map shows the lands of the historical region of Eastern Slobozhanshchina, which today are part of the Kursk, Belgorod and Voronezh regions.

Also on the historical and ethnographic map are Belarusian Polesye, Romanian South Bukovina and some Polish territories, from where Ukrainians were resettled in the Ukrainian SSR in 1944-1946.

Recall, on the eve of Kuleba met in Kiev with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. At a joint press conference, he voiced the expectations from the United States in negotiations with the Russian Federation.

And before that, the State Department reported that Blinken and Lavrov agreed to meet in Geneva on January 21.
