The registration period for the unified indigenous entrance exam of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and the Federal University of São Carlos (Ufscar) ends this Friday (20). This is the first year that universities apply the selection together.
To compete for vacancies for the next academic year, candidates must register up to two courses, one at each university, through the Comvest website.
The public notice with the rules, the complete calendar and vacancies per course can be found on the website of each institution separately.
On the day of the exam, candidates must bring the documentation specified in the notices to prove that they belong to one of the indigenous ethnic groups in Brazilian territory.
Students must also have completed high school fully in the public network (municipal, state, federal) or in officially recognized indigenous schools or that have obtained high school certification by ENEM or official exams, for example, the National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja).
In total, each university offers 130 places. If selected, the student must prove that he/she meets all the requirements through documents.
The test, which will be held on March 13, 2022, will be held in the following cities: Bauru (SP), Campinas (SP), Dourados (MS), Manaus (AM), Recife (PE), São Gabriel da Cachoeira (AM ) and Tabatinga (AM).
The exam will consist of an essay and multiple choice questions on Languages and Codes (14 questions), Natural Sciences (12 questions), Mathematics (12 questions) and Human Sciences (12 questions).
In addition to this test, candidates for the Degree in Music must take the Specific Skills Test in the area, with electronic submission of videos through the Comvest website, between January 25th and February 8th.
