A mother of many children went to the toilet, leaving three young children in the room, and after a few minutes she noticed smoke.

In the village of Buzovaya, Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky district, a fire broke out, the victim of which was a one-year-old child. About it the day before informedabout the department of the National Police of the Kiev region.

“Law enforcement officers established that an 18-year-old mother of many children was renting an apartment in a bathhouse. The girl told law enforcement officers that she went to the toilet at about 6 p.m., leaving three young children in the room, and noticed smoke in a few minutes,” the report says.

According to preliminary information, the fire occurred as a result of unauthorized ignition of the stove, which was used to heat the premises. While extinguishing the flames, rescuers found the body of a one-year-old child. Two more children were rescued.

Law enforcement officers detained a mother of many children. She was informed of suspicion under the article on leaving in danger (Part 3, Article 135 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years. The court has already chosen a measure of restraint for the girl in the form of detention.

Earlier this week, a fire broke out in a private residential building in the Kharkiv region, which killed a 45-year-old woman and her 9-year-old granddaughter. The tragedy for unknown reasons occurred in the village of Pokotilovka.

And in the Chernihiv region, a fire broke out in a private residential building in the village of Branitsa. Then four people died, including three children (born in 2017-2018).
