All thermal power plants, except Luhansk, and DTEK mines continue to operate, there are enough coal reserves in warehouses.
DTEK Energy enterprises continue their uninterrupted work, despite the hostilities in the country, ensuring the continuity of the Ukrainian energy system, reported in the company on Saturday, February 26th.
At the moment, 15 power units of DTEK Energo TPPs with a total total load of 2,727 MW are in operation, and 21 more are in reserve.
It is noted that all thermal power plants of DTEK Energy are working, except for Luhansk, which stopped due to hostilities.
The company’s mines are also operating normally.
At the same time, the work of machine-building enterprises – Corum Group, was suspended, since this is not critically necessary to ensure the production cycle.
DTEK assured that the warehouses of the stations are supplied with sufficient coal reserves – 510 thousand tons. The supply and maintenance of warehouses with coal is also provided.
“Power engineers and anti-crisis headquarters work 24/7. To ensure the safety of power engineers, the maximum number of employees continue to work remotely. The enterprises have only employees critical for their functioning. We care about their safety,” the company said.
It should be noted that despite the hostilities, the Ukrainian energy system is working stably.
