How to declare?
To file and submit the declaration, it is necessary to download the 2022 Income Tax filling program, even if last year’s version is already installed. The IRS also released this Monday (7) the program to carry out the 2022 Income Tax declaration, which can be downloaded on the agency’s own website.
If the 2021 declaration was made on the same device, there is likely a copy on the device. Just find it, click on “New” declaration, within the Federal Revenue program, select “Start importing 2021 declaration” and the file inside the device.
If it is the first time, CPF number, voter registration number, residential and occupation data are required. If there are dependents, it is also necessary to present their information.

After filling in the basic data, it is necessary to present the income report, which details how much each one received as a salary and paid with Income Tax at source and INSS, in 2021. The document can be accessed through the contracting company and through the INSS itself for retirees.
If the declaration is made together with the spouse, it is also necessary to present proof of income for the same. In any case, dependent payments must be reported.
With the data filled in, just inform the bank details and send the declaration. Don’t forget to note the receipt number.
