The former editor-in-chief of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, Alexei Venediktov, had the coat of arms of Ukraine pasted on the door along with the inscription Judensau, which means “Jewish pig”, and they threw a pig’s head in a wig. About this he wrote in the telegram.
“The country that defeated fascism. Why not a six-pointed star on the door of my apartment?” – Venediktov writes in the telegram channel. – “They decided to intimidate me and my family? Me, whom Dudayev’s militants took to be shot?”
Former editor-in-chief of “Echo of Moscow” told “Interfax” that he intends to contact the police about this incident.
“My wife, as a respectable girl, unfortunately, simply removed all this, it’s rubbish. Therefore, we still have footage taken by a camera in the entrance. We will hand it over to the police,” he told the agency.
According to him, earlier a man dressed in the uniform of a Delivery Club food delivery man entered the entrance when Venediktov was at work, put a pig’s head at the entrance to the journalist’s apartment and glued the coat of arms of Ukraine with the inscription Judensau on the door.
Judensau is an anti-Semitic architectural element that appeared in Germany in the 13th century and spread to other countries. Today, neo-Nazis use the term in speech.
In early March, the board of directors decided to liquidate the Ekho Moskvy radio station. Roskomnadzor also demanded that Google remove the media app from its store. Before that, the Prosecutor General’s Office demanded to block the radio station’s website and take it off the air.
