Whoever was born in one of the last two months of the year can withdraw the salary bonus that week. November birthdays are allowed to access the benefit on Tuesday (29) and December, Thursday (31).
Anyone who misses the deadline will have until December 29 to redeem the amount.
The salary bonus, established by Law No. 7,998/90, is equivalent to the value of, at most, one minimum wage. The paying agent is Caixa Econômica Federal and the funds come from the Worker Support Fund (FAT).
According to Caixa, until March 24, R$15.4 billion had been made available. The Ministry of Labor and Welfare announced that the salary bonus will benefit a total of 24.2 million workers this year.
who is entitled
The benefit is valid for those who worked formally for at least 30 days in the reference year, which in this case is 2020, receiving an average of up to two minimum wages per month.
In addition, the person must have been registered with PIS/PASEP for at least five years; who have performed remunerated activity for a Legal Entity for at least one month of the base year and who have their data correctly informed by the employer in the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS/eSocial).

What is the salary bonus
The benefit has a value proportional to the length of service of the worker in the base year in question.
The calculation corresponds to the number of months worked in that year, multiplied by 1/12 of the minimum wage in force on the date of payment.
In this case, the value can vary between R$101 and R$1,212.
