Both the state government and the city of Rio de Janeiro decreed an optional point in the offices of public bodies on three days of this month of April to follow the calendar of holidays. The state and municipal decrees were published last Friday (8).

The first day of the optional point is on Thursday (14), which precedes Good Friday. The following week has an optional point on Wednesday (20), before the Day of Inconfidência Mineira, and on Friday (22).
The state decree signed by governor Cláudio Castro (PL) and the decree signed by the mayor of Rio, Eduardo Paes (PSD), emphasize that the working hours will be normal in offices where activities cannot be paralyzed.
