The regime was introduced in areas that border on Ukraine. Citizens are asked to report suspicious people.
In two districts of the Voronezh region, a high “yellow” level of terrorist threat was introduced. This measure was called preventive by the local authorities. The regime will be in effect for 15 days, Russian media write.
An increased level of terrorist threat was introduced on April 11 in the Kantemirov and Rossosh regions bordering Ukraine due to “possible provocations by Ukrainian nationalists.”
“This measure is exclusively preventive: the situation in the Voronezh region remains completely calm and absolutely controlled by the authorities and law enforcement officers,” said the region’s governor Alexander Gusev.
In the districts, it is planned to strengthen the work of structures that ensure law and order and security.
“This does not entail restrictions in the daily life of citizens,” the official added.
He also urged local residents to be vigilant and asked to report suspicious citizens and left objects to the police.
Meanwhile, trenches began to be dug in the Belgorod region. Russians living in the region are concerned that hostilities will begin in this territory.
And before that, in the Kursk region, they announced the shelling of the border post allegedly from Ukraine. Nobody was hurt, there was no damage.
