In Belarus, the director and public relations manager of the Vilnius printing center “A2print” Alesya Bunevich was detained, informs human rights center “Viasna”.
According to human rights activists, the girl lived in Vilnius, and came to Belarus on the anniversary of her mother’s death.
Alesya Bunevich is accused of “committing an act of terrorism by a group of persons by prior agreement” in a criminal case of sabotage on the railway, human rights activists specify. The article provides for punishment from 8 to 20 years in prison.
Alesya Bunevich was detained a week ago, reported in the A2print Instagram account.
“The accusation is completely insane, it’s not even about years, but about dozens of years in prison. You ask, why did she go to Belarus? It was about the family, and she could not help but go,” the message says.
“Preliminarily, Bunevich was detained while trying to cross the border of Belarus from one of the EU countries,” – writes MayDay telegram channel.
