On April 14, in the village of Borovaya, Izyumsky district, Kharkiv region, the Russian military fired on buses with evacuated residents, informs regional prosecutor’s office.
According to preliminary data, seven people were killed and 27 others were injured.
The prosecutor’s office launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine.
UNIAN indicatesthat one of the most affected cities is Kharkiv. At the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine earlier reportedthat the Russian forces continued partial blockade and shelling of the city.
Under war conditions, it is not possible to confirm the information.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a “special military operation” in Ukraine on February 24. During the fighting, Russian troops occupied part of the territory in southern Ukraine with the city of Kherson, as well as in the Kharkiv region and in the Donbass. They retreated from Kyiv and from the north of Ukraine. According to the UN, over 4.7 million Ukrainians left their homes, died nearly two thousand people.
