According to official data, all of them are in working condition, but the planes have not taken off for a long time. Chisinau tried to sell them for a long time, but the auction failed.
However, the publication’s sources claim that Kyiv, in response to its request, received a categorical refusal from the Moldovan government, with the explanation “we do not want to irritate Russia.” Moldova believed that the Russian Federation would consider this a violation of the principle of neutrality.
Recall that Moldova banned the St. George ribbon, as well as the symbols Z and V, which Russian troops use during the invasion of Ukraine.
