The World Social Forum (WSF) 2022 started this Sunday (1st), in Mexico City (Mexico). With hybrid activities, the international event completes 20 years of existence after its first edition held in Porto Alegre. Until the 6th of May, face-to-face events will be held, some of them in an extended format, that is, with virtual broadcasts. The complete schedule can be accessed on this link (in English).
The event’s hybridization commission continues to organize the transmission and emphasizes that this information will be available on the WSF website, on social networks (Facebook e Instagram) and no Facebook to Ciranda.Net. Several round tables are also being broadcast from the canal do Youtube do FSM.
According to the organization, the social movements that operate in the world are disjointed on a global scale, experiencing a more dramatic social scenario than the one before the pandemic. Thus, finding opportunities to rearticulate resistance and alternatives is the biggest and most important challenge.
The call for participation states that the WSF is a space for a process to contribute to facing this challenge of strengthening articulations to advance common transformative agendas.
