The General Prosecutor’s Office of Kazakhstan, when inspecting the cargo of Group Of The Companies Tda, found undeclared goods. The co-founder of this company is Anipa Nazarbayeva – her personal data matches those of the sister of the former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, writes Kazakh service of Radio Liberty.
“During the inspection of the cargo of Group Of The Companies Tda LLP, undeclared goods worth 287 million tenge (more than $647,000) were found. The directors of the company were taken into custody,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the website Orda.kz, the founders of Group Of The Companies Tda are Anipa Nazarbaeva and Ali Klyshpaev. The latter is indicated by the director of this company. Klyshpaev is suspected of unauthorized transportation of consumer goods across the state border, the total cost of which amounted to more than 585 million tenge ($1.3 million).
The supervisory authority revealed facts of customs evasion and false declaration of goods during the customs check. According to the agency, authorized economic operators, in order to evade entrepreneurs from taxes, forged invoices for 221 billion tenge over the past two years. For 6 months of verification, 16 facts of smuggling for 800 million tenge were established.

On March 9, the court also sent his wife Gulmira Satybaldy into custody; law enforcement officers suspected her of embezzlement of budget funds in the amount of 747 million tenge ($166.48 billion). In addition, in March, businessman Kairat Boranbaev, Dariga Nazarbayeva’s matchmaker, was detained and placed in custody. The eldest daughter of the ex-president resigned as a deputy.
