Shmygal told how the assets confiscated by the Russians are used

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a document according to which Russian assets on the territory of Ukraine are transferred to the state, or rather to the State Enterprise National Investment Fund.

Russian enterprises confiscated on the territory of Ukraine will be used to strengthen the army, support people and restore Ukraine. About this Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal declared during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday, May 10.

It is reported that the Cabinet of Ministers approved a document according to which Russian assets on the territory of Ukraine are transferred to the state, or rather to the State Enterprise National Investment Fund.

“Both the president and the government have repeatedly said that Russia must pay for what it has destroyed in Ukraine. Everything that Russia owns in Ukraine, we will take away and use to strengthen the army, support people and restore our country. We continue to work with our partners so that Russian assets in other states are confiscated and transferred to the restoration of our country,” the prime minister stressed.

Recall that the court seized the corporate rights and accounts of business entities belonging to relatives of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak.
