Power engineers are completing the restoration of electricity supply in the Kyiv region
4,000 consumers in 10 settlements remain without electricity. They are planned to be connected to the power supply in the coming days.
DTEK’s energy companies have to connect 4,000 consumers before the full restoration of power supply to the de-occupied villages and cities of the Kyiv region. This was announced on Thursday, May 12, by Dmitry Sakharuk, Executive Director of DTEK, on the air of the national telethon.
“In the Kyiv region, we are already completing the restoration after the de-occupation. We have 4,000 consumers in 10 settlements without electricity. We plan to complete the restoration in the coming days in order to fully provide electricity to all households in the Kyiv region,” he said.
According to him, now the biggest difficulties are with the restoration of power supply in the Donetsk region, where 340,000 consumers remain without electricity.
“There are constant shellings. These are Limansky, Avdeevsky, Maryansky, Toretsky districts, where blackouts are constantly taking place,” Sakharuk said.
Recall that earlier DTEK improved the forecast for the restoration of electricity supply in the Kyiv region.
