The only source of water supply for settlements controlled by the invaders is the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which was damaged at the beginning of the war.
Water in the territories controlled by the “DNR” is left for about three weeks. This was stated by the general director of the “republican” enterprise Water of Donbass Vitaly Kizhaev.
According to him, the only source of water supply for settlements controlled by the “DPR” is the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. Even at the beginning of hostilities in February, its equipment was damaged, interruptions began in the supply of water.
“Stable water supply will return to us only after the release of the sources of this canal in the Slavyansk region,” Kizhaev said.
