A protocol was drawn up against the leader of the DDT group, Yuri Shevchuk, because of the words “Motherland is not the president’s ass,” Radmir Usaev, director of the Ufa production center Radus, said on his Instagram.
According to him, after the DDT concert in Ufa on May 18, the security forces “penetrated” backstage and “conversed for an hour about the fact of the concert, its direction, and Shevchuk’s statements on the subject of war and the Motherland.”
The police at first wanted to detain Shevchuk, but then they simply gave him a protocol to sign and left, Usaev said. “About what [протокол]you can guess for yourself,” the producer wrote, without specifying other details. Officially, neither the interrogation of Shevchuk, nor the protocol drawn up against him was reported.
May 18 in social networks appeared video from a DDT concert, at which Shevchuk said: “Motherland, friends, is not the president’s ass, which must be procrastinated, kissed all the time. Motherland is a beggar grandmother at the station selling potatoes. This is the motherland.” The audience greeted this statement with applause and cheers.
In April, the concert of the DDT group in Tyumen was canceled due to the refusal of Yuri Shevchuk to perform against the backdrop of a huge letter Z – a symbol in support of the Russian army.
