Ukraine will take one of the first places on the agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, which will be held from May 22 to 26. Reported on Saturday Interfax-Ukraine.
It is noted that the Davos Forum will be held in person for the first time after a two-year break caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The event will be attended by about 2 thousand people, including about 50 world leaders. For the first time in many years, the WEF will be held without Russian participation.
It is also indicated that the list of those invited to the forum does not look as impressive as in previous years. So, neither US President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris will come to Davos this year. China will also not be widely represented.
Recall that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will speak at the forum in Davos. It was also reported that among the Ukrainian politicians who will personally attend the event will be Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a Swiss non-governmental organization best known for hosting the annual Davos meetings. Leading business executives, political leaders, prominent thinkers and journalists are invited to the meetings.
