Security forces searched the homes of eight former and current employees of the Federal Institute for the Development of Education (FIRO) of the RANEPA. About it informs TASS, citing law enforcement sources.
Investigative actions are taking place in the case of fraud on an especially large scale with government contracts, among the defendants of which are the former Deputy Minister of Education and top manager of Sberbank Marina Rakova and the rector of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka) Sergei Zuev.
In particular, investigative actions were carried out at the former Deputy Minister of Education and Science Maxim Dulinov, his deputy Evelina Aliyeva and the head of the Research Center for Strategy, Design and Legal Support of the RANEPA Olga Radionova.
In particular, the investigators came to Maxim Dulinov because of the suspicion of the fictitious nature of his employment at FIRO, organized by Marina Rakova. Previously, he was an employee of the Ministry of Education.
October 8, 2021 Tverskoy Court of Moscow sent under arrest the ex-deputy minister of education of the Russian Federation and the former vice-president of Sberbank Marina Rakova. She became a defendant in the case of embezzlement of 50 million rubles. She is suspected of crimes committed while working in the ministry.
Sergei Zuev detained October 11 in the hospital, where he had previously been hospitalized with a hypertensive crisis. The rector of Shaninka is one of the defendants in the case against the ex-deputy minister of education and former vice-president of Sberbank Marina Rakova. He was charged with embezzling more than 21 million rubles from the state Foundation for New Forms of Education Development, which ordered several studies as part of the Teacher of the Future federal project. According to investigators, the university did not fulfill the contracts. The rector does not admit guilt.
Former employees of the foundation Yevgeny Zak, Maksim Inkin, Artur Stetsenko are also in the pre-trial detention center in this case, and the executive director of Shaninka, Kristina Kryuchkova, has been placed under house arrest.
