Users in Russia are having problems connecting to the Proton VPN service. About it reported on the ProtonMail website. The company suggested that the service began to block.
“We are currently investigating the issue, but it is not caused by any changes on our part. It is likely that local ISPs and authorities are interfering with VPN connections, in which case we will not be able to resolve such issues. Some servers may continue work. We continue to try to bypass the lock. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” the company said.
How writes “Mediazona”, access problems also arose for clients of Lantern and Outline VPN services.
A VPN, or virtual private network, is often used to bypass blocks in order to gain access to a site or service blocked in your country. But that’s not the only benefit of a VPN.
