The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of personal sanctions against 61 US citizens. About it reported on the website of the department.
The list, according to a press release, includes heads of leading corporations, media platforms and rating agencies, aircraft and shipbuilding companies, as well as individual US State Department officials “involved in stuffing about malicious Russian cyber attacks.”
In particular, sanctions have been imposed against Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, director of the White House Drug Control Office Rahul Gupta, head of the State Department’s Bureau of Cyberspace Security and Digital Policy Jennifer Bacchus, and White House Communications Director Katherine Bedingfield.
In addition to them, the list includes Assistant to the President of the United States for Economic Affairs Brian Deese, Assistant Chief of Staff Jennifer Dillon, Senior Presidential Adviser Michael Donilon, Presidential Legal Adviser Dana Remus, Director of the White House Office of Government Affairs Cedric Richmond, Presidential Adviser Stephen Riccheti, Assistant Secretary of State’s Staff Thomas Sullivan, Senior Presidential Adviser Eugene Sperling, Chief of the Presidential Secretariat Tina Tanden, Netflix co-leader Reed Hastings, and others.
