Ukrainian artillery strikes at the invaders
Russia may try to seize more Ukrainian territories in the event of a breakthrough in the Donbass.
In the event of a breakthrough in the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas, the situation in Ukraine could significantly worsen, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday, June 6.
“If there is a breakthrough in the Donbas, it will be very difficult for us, we can go somewhere further, if it can go south, missile attacks on the center, on our strategic enterprises. There may be a return to those territories that were partially occupied,” he said.
Zelensky also noted the difficulty of calculating Russia’s plans: “It is not known what to expect.”
According to the president, the most difficult situation is now in Severodonetsk and in the Zaporozhye direction.
Recall that the day before, during a visit to the front, Zelensky visited the Zaporozhye, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, in particular Lisichansk and Soledar.
