Four citizens sentenced for treason for 15 years

“They participated in the preparations for the hostilities of the invaders against Ukraine. Also, the convicts recognized the lawful armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014, and the temporary occupation of part of the territory of our state. In March 2022, they arrived on the territory of the Kharkiv region with the aim of further occupation of the territory of Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. There, with military weapons and documents of citizens of the DPR, they were detained by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.

Recall that the SBU officers reported a suspicion of high treason to the former chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration during the time of the fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych.
