Aleksey Arestovich, Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office
The adviser to the head of the President’s Office said that the German government had already delivered to Ukraine.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said that the five thousand helmets promised by Germany back in January have not yet been delivered. According to him, the German people need to deal with their politicians. He said this in an interview with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin.
“The German people need to deal with their politicians. We are painfully trying to understand what (what weapons Germany supplied to Ukraine). I still want to see the five thousand helmets that they supplied us,” the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office said.
Arestovich also listed what exactly the German government had already transferred for the Ukrainian army.
“They supplied grenade launchers, anti-tank weapons, ammunition. Money was given for armaments, for the purchase of old Soviet equipment,” Arestovich said.
All the weapons coming from the Bundestag were light, that is, they had a defensive character. The country only promised to give heavy weapons.
Recall, earlier it was reported that from March 30 to May 26, Germany transferred to Ukraine only two batches of weapons, which included mines and spare parts for machine guns. It also became known that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has been blocking the supply of Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine for more than a month.
