The Ministry of Education told how many teachers left Ukraine
All teachers are involved in the educational process. Some work remotely, some work as volunteers.
Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet said that 26,000 teachers moved from Ukraine abroad because of the war. He said this on the air of the Breakfast from 1 + 1 program on Thursday, June 9.
“We have 26,000 teachers who have gone abroad today, but they are all involved in the educational process,” the official said.
According to him, some of the teachers who left work as volunteers in the educational process in the host countries. These are Sabbath schools and educational hubs. Some are working remotely.
“There is no shortage of teachers at the beginning of the school year,” he added.
Recall that in Ukraine the number of applicants has significantly decreased.
