When Ukraine wins the war against the Russian Federation, it will be considered common, the Ukrainian leader stressed.
In the Ukraine-Poland-UK political triangle, the details of future security guarantees for Ukraine and the region are already being discussed. About this on Friday, June 10, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with the student community of leading universities in the UK.
Speaking about the alliance between Kyiv, London and Warsaw, and their joint contribution to European security, Zelensky noted that in a situation of war, some partnerships and dialogues build themselves.
“This triangle was built on its own. We are very close. In addition to history, today there is modernity, in which from the very beginning, from the first day, we had, if I may say so, such a security-political chemistry between the leaders of the three states… From the first day, our relations were built on strong support,” he said.
The Ukrainian leader added that the Ukrainian army trusts the British army.
“When we say that today there is such a platform for relations, this is no longer just about relationships. Because we are fighting, we are being helped. So, when we win, and we will definitely win, we will consider that this victory is common. And those who have been on this path and will build, I am sure, large-scale future projects. In this triangle, we are already talking about the details of future security guarantees for Ukraine and the region,” Zelensky said.
Recall, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace arrived in Kyiv and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Earlier it was reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will participate in the meeting of heads of state and government of NATO, which will be held in Madrid on June 28-30.
