The strike of São Paulo bus drivers and collectors is over. According to SPTrans, the return of activities started at 3:20 pm this Tuesday (14), after negotiation between companies, public authorities and workers. The agreement guaranteed a salary adjustment of 12.47%, applied retroactively from May 1, the base date of the category, also valid for the meal vouchers.
In addition, both the government and the companies undertake to negotiate the other clauses of the Collective Agreement within five working days.
“If there is no understanding, the workers resumed their strike activities”, says Valmir Santana da Paz, known as Sorriso, acting president of the Union of Drivers and Workers in Urban Road Transport of São Paulo (Sindmotoristas) to the Brazil de facto.
Workers also charge the payment of a Profit Sharing (PLR) of R$ 2,500 linearly for everyone, the return of the 30-minute paid lunch break, a new job and salary plan for employees in the maintenance sector, in addition to the renewal of other points of the Collective Agreement.
It was also guaranteed the non-deduction of the point related to today’s strike. Also participating in the negotiation were José Valdevan de Jesus, the Noventa, licensed president of the entity, and councilor Milton Leite, president of the São Paulo City Council, representing the public power.
According to Noventa, the minutes of the meeting will be forwarded to the Labor Court, where the judgment of the strike agreement is scheduled for this Wednesday (15), at 15:00.
