The group installed the Campo Belo station, at an altitude of about 2,400 meters, in Itatiaia Park, which carried out all record temperature measurements.
In addition to the Campo Belo station, the group established two other stations at the location: Rebouças and Delfim Moreira. The radars are located at 2350 meters and 2605 meters in altitude and operate on the basis of solar energy.
The fourth station in the region is that of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), which recorded minus 7.8 degrees in the early hours of last Tuesday (14).
