In Khmelnitsky, the fare will remain one of the lowest in the region
Carriers from the end of April appealed to the city authorities to raise the fare to 16 hryvnia.
In Khmelnytsky will increase the fare in public transport from July 1. About it informed Mayor of Khmelnytsky Alexander Semchishin on Thursday, June 23.
According to him, the fare in trolleybuses will cost 6 hryvnias on an electronic ticket and 7 hryvnias in cash. In buses and minibuses, the fare will be 12 hryvnia.
“We have been delaying this step for more than two months, carriers have been asking us since the end of April to raise the fare to UAH 16. We understand the objective component of the growth, because in the previous tariff the cost of fuel was 24 hryvnia per liter, and now it is more than 50 hryvnia, and diesel fuel – almost 60,” Semchishin said.
He added that in Khmelnitsky the tariff remains one of the lowest in the region.
Now travel on the bus routes of Khmelnitsky, as well as minibuses – 8 hryvnia. Citizens pay 6 hryvnias for travel in trolleybuses. But a one-time electronic ticket costs 5 hryvnias.
Recall that at the end of May, fares in private minibuses in Kyiv rose in price. Price tags of 10 hryvnias have disappeared in almost all city routes.
It was also reported that in Lviv, the fare for buses was increased from 10 to 15 hryvnia. The new prices came into effect on June 2.
