The consultation of the new batch of lion refunds starts this Thursday (23). The amount is based on the income tax return for the year 2021, which ended at the end of May this year.
As in the first batch, the Federal Revenue must refund R$ 6.3 billion to more than 4.2 million taxpayers. The amounts of the second batch will be deposited on June 30th.
If you want to check if you will receive the Income Tax refund in this second batch, you must go to the website My Income Tax or else download the app on your phone or tablet. There, simply access the list of services and click on “Consult the Refund”.
For the simple query, just access this link, informing your CPF, the year of the income tax return and your date of birth. After the priority groups, refunds are paid according to the date the declaration was sent. The sooner your statement is filed, the sooner you can receive a refund.
For more information about your income tax return, such as status, possible pending issues, divergences or even to know if you fell into the fine mesh, just go to portal e-Cac. To access it is necessary to enter CPF, access code and password.
According to data from the Internal Revenue Service, more than 760,000 elderly people over 60 will receive refunds in this lot. In addition to this priority public, the restitution calendar also provides for payments to just over 48,000 people who live with some physical or mental disability or serious illness and more than 660,000 who live mostly on income from teaching.
Payment of Income Tax refunds will be made in the taxpayer’s current account, registered at the time of declaration. For those account holders who use PIX and have the key with their CPF number, the refund can also be made in this way.
By the end of the calendar, which ends on September 30 this year, the tax authorities plan to pay refunds to more than 22 million people. This year alone, 36,322,912 statements were received by the Federal Revenue Service.
