The United States has included in the sanctions list a private company Promcomplektlogistic from Uzbekistan, reported on the US Department of State website.
On March 3, 2022, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the United States imposed sanctions against Radioavtomatika LLC, which is engaged in the purchase of foreign goods for the Russian defense industry.
Procomplektlogistic, according to the statement, “actively supported Radioavtomatika in its attempts to circumvent US sanctions” – it supplied the Russian company with microcircuits.
“The inclusion of the private company Promcomplektlogistic on the sanctions list should serve as a warning to businesses around the world: if you do business with entities or individuals under sanctions, you risk being sanctioned,” the US State Department said.
All Promcomplektlogistic assets in the US will be frozen and US companies will be prohibited from doing business with it.
Promcomplektlogistic was founded in 2018 and is engaged in the provision of land transport services. The sole owner of the company registered in Tashkent is Oleg Grabilin, who also owns several companies in Russia, informs Uzbek service of Radio Liberty.
