France will transfer six more Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of the armed forces of France Sebastien Lecornu, reports The Parisian.
At the same time, Lecornu did not specify when Ukraine would receive them. However, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko informedthat “new self-propelled guns from international partners are rushing to the Ukrainian front to crush the invaders.”
It is noted that the self-propelled guns will come in addition to the 12 howitzers that were delivered earlier.
Caesar is a new generation self-propelled artillery mount. It allows you to hit enemy targets at a distance of 20 kilometers.
Earlier it was reported that France would send armed VAB-type armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. It is also exploring the possibility of supplying Exocet anti-ship missiles.
Also, the Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine received German Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled guns. They have already become part of the arsenal of 155-mm howitzers of artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
