The Paraná Workers’ Party (PT-PR) made Roberto Requião’s pre-candidacy official for the state government, in a meeting held on Saturday (2). Former president of the Legislative Assembly, Hermas Brandão, from the Green Party (PV), was nominated as deputy on the ticket.
“We are going to recover our companies, the state’s investment capacity and put the government at the service of the people who need it most”, said Requião, in his first participation in a state meeting of the PT. “But for that, we also need to have a president who reaches out to us to help in this battle, and we elect a great slate of deputies and female deputies”, he added.
The slate headed by Requião must be approved at the convention of the Brasil Esperança Federation, which brings together, in addition to the PT, the PCdoB and the PV.
The meeting also approved that the legend’s Executive forward, together with the federation’s parties and other possible related parties, an agreement for the presentation of a name for the Senate dispute.
