Since the beginning of the year, the deficit of the general fund of the state budget has been UAH 406.1 billion, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reports.
The deficit of the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine in June increased compared to May by almost 20% to UAH 134.9 billion. About it reported press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the income of the general fund in May decreased by 4% – to UAH 96 billion, while expenses increased by 7% – to UAH 232.4 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, the deficit of the general fund of the state budget has been UAH 406.1 billion.
Actual state borrowings to the general fund of the state budget for this period amounted to UAH 561.3 billion, or 133.5% of the planned ones.
Of this amount, the placement of government bonds brought UAH 349.7 billion, including UAH 28.1 billion in foreign currency ($653.5 million and EUR 288.3 million).
By issuing military government bonds, it was possible to attract UAH 327.6 billion, including UAH 225 billion through the acquisition by the National Bank of Ukraine.
UAH 211.6 billion was attracted from external sources.
Payments to repay the public debt in January-June amounted to UAH 214.8 billion.
Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has spent 130 billion hryvnias per month on the maintenance of the armed forces, and over the entire past year, Ukraine spent about 156 billion hryvnias on the maintenance of the Armed Forces.
