Moscow State University will begin training masters in countering “color revolutions”
Some items from the compulsory academic disciplines: NLP and other techniques of effective communication in politics.
At Moscow State University (MGU), the Department of Political Science has opened a set of students for a master’s program for training specialists “in the field of countering the technologies of modern information, hybrid, trade wars and color revolutions.” On Monday, July 4, the Russian service reports Radio Liberty with reference to site faculty.
The master’s program is called “Information and hybrid wars”.
In 2022, 20 places have been allocated for it. They will train “counteraction” for money.
The description of the goal of the program says – “to provide training for specialists capable of planning and implementing operations to counter information, hybrid warfare and color revolutions of a hybrid type.”
The compulsory disciplines in the curriculum are “Psychology of extreme states”, “Neuro-linguistic programming and other techniques of effective communication in politics”, “The latest practice of information operations in Russian-American relations”, “Peculiarities of countering modern technologies of color revolutions”, “Analytical support special military and police operations”, as well as “Special propaganda and fight against fakes in the context of special military and police operations”.
Political scientist Andrei Manoilo, the author of a doctoral dissertation on the topic “The role of cultural and civilizational models and technologies of information and psychological influence in resolving international conflicts” and the monograph “Information warfare as a tool of external aggression and territorial expansion: a study guide”, has been appointed curator of the program.
Recall that Vasily Karazin Kharkiv University decided to unite the departments of the Russian language and the history of Russian literature and create on their basis the department of Slavic philology.
