This Thursday (18) the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), comes to Belo Horizonte, in an act at Praça da Estação, in downtown Belo Horizonte. The concentration starts at 16:00. The event takes place together with one of its main allies in the electoral dispute, the candidate for governor of MG, Alexandre Kalil (PSD).
In a video on his social networks, former president Lula called for the activity people who “believe in democracy”, so that they participate in what he called “the victory snatch to make love win over hate”.
“We are going to fill Praça da Estação to welcome President Lula and show that the people of Minas will be happy again!”, said Kalil.
Minas Gerais represents the 2nd largest electoral college in the country and will host the first rally of former President Lula after the official start of this year’s campaign, which began this Tuesday (16th).
