Their assets in Ukraine are blocked, the existing property will be used for the defense of Ukraine, the president said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against 185 legal entities and individuals that the Russian Federation uses in the rail transportation of personnel and military equipment. He announced this in an evening video message to the people of Ukraine on January 28.

“Their assets in Ukraine are blocked, the existing property will be used for our defense. We will work to ensure that similar blocking is applied by other countries,” Zelensky said.
