The enemy suffers significant losses, but advances in three directions
Losing a large number of manpower, the enemy still continues offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions, according to the evening summary of the General Staff.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a summary of the military invasion of the Russian Federation as of Saturday evening, January 28.
“Losing a large number of manpower, the enemy continues offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions. In Kupyansky, Limansky, Zaporozhye and Kherson, he is on the defensive,” the General Staff report says.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the situation did not change significantly, and no enemy offensive groupings were found. At the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus, units of the 6th motorized rifle division of the 3rd army corps of the Russian Federation are being trained.
It is also reported that the invaders continue to exert moral, psychological and physical pressure on the local population of the occupied regions. In particular, the employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, who did not sign an employment contract with the occupiers, blocked their passes to enter the station, and the workers who were forced to sign a contract were announced a reduction in wages, citing the fact that the station was not working.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. In recent days, about 50 wounded occupiers have been brought to the city hospital in the Tokmak settlement of the Zaporozhye region alone. Most of them, after receiving formal assistance, are sent back to the front lines.
Aviation of the Defense Forces during the current day delivered four strikes on the areas of concentration of the invaders, and our units of missile forces and artillery hit two command posts, two air defense positions and three areas of concentration of enemy manpower, the General Staff notes.
