Young Pedro Lima, an athlete with Palmeiras in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, starred in a curious scene in the awarding of medals after winning the most important Brazilian championship in the youth categories, this Wednesday (25).
Head of the alviverde team in the so-called “Copinha”, Pedro Lima walked straight past the governor of São Paulo, Bolsonarist Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), who was one of the authorities present at the competition’s award ceremony.
After the game, on Twitter, Pedro Lima interacted with a publication with the video of the scene and the caption: “Our dear Pedro Lima correctly passing through the trash of Tarcisio de Freitas. The title stage is not the place for a naughty politician!”.
:: Appointed by Tarcísio, Michelle’s brother earned R$ 368,000 in positions during the Bolsonaro government ::
During the presidential elections in October last year, in addition to Pedro Lima, at least three other athletes from the Palmeiras squad that won the Cup on Wednesday (25) took a stand against Bolsonarism.
Midfielder Yago Santos wrote that he has been “13ZÃO since he was little”. Striker Allan Elias published, in the week of the second round of the election, that “Sunday may be saying goodbye”. Fellow striker Kevin is another who “made the L” during the election.
