President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the terrorist attack in Jerusalem: he tweeted that Ukraine shares the pain of the Israeli people and believes that terror should not have a place in the modern world.
“We share the pain of the people because of the terrorist attacks in Jerusalem,” the statement said.
Zelensky noted that among the victims was a citizen of Ukraine, and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. In addition, he drew attention to the date of the attack.
“The crimes were cynically committed, in particular, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Terror should have no place in the modern world. Neither in Israel nor in Ukraine,” the president added.

The night before, in a synagogue on the outskirts of Jerusalem, a Palestinian shot dead seven people and wounded 10 more. The police officers who arrived at the scene killed the attacker. And this morning in East Jerusalem, two men were shot and killed in an armed attack near the Old City.
