The power grid is still recovering from the previous series of enemy rocket attacks.
Electricity generation at operating power plants cannot fully cover consumption.
As a result of Russian missile and drone attacks, power plants (generating facilities) and the high-voltage network were damaged. The attack of the Russians on January 26 caused significant damage to several high-voltage network facilities. This was announced on January 29 by Ukrenergo.
The power grid is still recovering from the previous series of enemy rocket attacks that damaged the power units of power plants. As a result, electricity production at operating power plants cannot fully cover consumption.
For technical reasons, one of the blocks of thermal power plants was put out for repair, and, accordingly, the volume of electricity produced in the system decreased. Therefore, all oblenergos have been given somewhat reduced consumption limits, which are in effect during the day.
Ukrenergo reminds that each oblenergo (list http://bit.ly/3tGVpah) in its region draws up schedules of planned hourly outages, which should ensure the consumption of the region at the level of the proven limit.
Also, the restoration of energy infrastructure facilities damaged during the massive attack on January 26 continues. In the Odessa region, emergency shutdowns continue to operate. The restoration of the planned power supply scheme of the region continues.
“Ukrenergo, electricity producers and oblenergos are constantly working to restore damaged facilities hit by enemy attacks. However, after each subsequent Russian attack on the energy infrastructure, restoration becomes more difficult and takes longer,” the report says.
Recall that the energy system of Ukraine has already survived 13 enemy missile attacks and 15 UAV strikes on energy facilities. In particular, as a result of the attack of the Russian aggressors on January 26, significant damage was inflicted to several high-voltage network facilities.
The situation is especially difficult in the Odessa region. Due to low consumption limits, residents there receive only 15% of electricity.
